The Awakening of Earnesto is a two part story which chronicles how Earnesto received enlightenment from a frog. It is unfortunate for Earnesto that his awakening brings upon himself the hatred of certain authorities which causes him to flee for his life. In this state he is rescued by Sophia, and by way of his confessions, she herself begins the process of awakening, and in particular begins to understand something about conscience.
